It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Hope Webb Earwood Morgan of Kingsland, Georgia, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dolores Hope Webb Earwood leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Cledus Earwood and Dora Earwood (Webb); her husband Charles Lynn Morgan, Jr.; her children, Tammy Morgan Neal and Lloyd Dane Morgan; and her siblings, Leonard Earwood, Mavis Earwood Simmons, Achey Earwood and Roger Earwood.
She is survived by: her children, Charles L. Morgan, III and Pamela Hope Morgan Evans; and her sister Linda Earwood Landers. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806).
