She was predeceased by : her parents, Lucian D. Nelson, Sr. and Nellie H. Nelson-Robinson; her stepfather George Robinson; her husband Brooks Bush; her siblings, Bonnie N. Gum, Thelma Carlton, Lucile McElvery and Lucian Nelson, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Virginia Forsyth. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A burial was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kingsland First Baptist Building Fund or to the donor's charity of choice.
