With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luell Lovett (Keysville, Georgia), who passed away on April 18, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Campbell and Elese Lovett Walker; his stepfather Hardy Walker Sr.; and his brothers, Enoch Walker Sr. and Hardy Walker Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Minister Burnese Jenkins Lovett; his children, Juliett Williams of Augusta, Georgia, Brenda Gray (Robert) of Augusta, Georgia, Gerald Lovett (Trina) of Augusta and Kendrick Stokes Sr. (Taisha) of Wake Village, Texas; his goddaughter Chandler Carswell; his siblings, Eugene Walker of Augusta, GA, Betty Washington of New York, Rosa Rosier (Arthur) of Hephzibah, Joyce Felton of Philadelphia and Jeanett Campbell of Florida; his siblings-in-law, Jennie, Rev. Lee Jones of Augusta, Ida, Seaborn Jones, James, Mae Evans, Allen, Linda Jenkins, Shirley Walker of Waynesboro and Johnnie Mae Jenkins; and also Eugene Walker of Augusta, Georgia.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (725 Beech St, Louisville, GA 30434). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Second Antioch Baptist Church (5468 Story Mill Rd, Keysville, GA 30816).
