She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Willie Allen Beard (Minnie Lee), Robert Willie Beard (Christine), James Richard Beard, Catherine Louise Kingsberry-Harrell (Leonard), Lois Beard Garnett and Luerether Boyd.
After a nearly 12-year battle with Alzheimer's Disease, she exited peacefully in her sleep, leaving behind her loving family and friends.
