He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoke Smith Reece and Lillie Mae Burnett Reece; his siblings, Linda Reece, Vernon Reece and Everee Reece Hamby; his father-in-law Wayne Daniels; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Reece, Trish Daniels, Linda Ballew, W. H. Wright, Bill Hamby and Charles Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Irene O. Reece; his children, Jeffrey Reece (Tracie) of Marietta and Alison Pechenino (Kraig) of Kennesaw; his grandchildren, Amanda Reece, Ashley Ballard (Jack), Travis Reece (Melissa), Chelsea Pechenino and Ellie Reece Pechenino; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Ballard, Lily Ballard, Scarlett Reece and Benjamin Reece; his siblings, Sue Wright of Ranger, Brenda Spiva of Hiawassee, Bobbie Honaker (Bill) of Blairsville, James Reece (Brenda) of Marietta and Rex Reece (Marcia) of Kingston; his mother-in-law Essie Daniels; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Esposito (Buddy), Janet Hilgerson, Nancy McVey (Bernard) and Tony Daniels (Alene).
