He was predeceased by: his parents, L. L. Shirley and Gladys Logan Shirley of Acworth; and his brother Ronnie O'Neal Shirley of Paulding County. He is survived by: his wife Sheila C. Shirley of Kennesaw; his children, Scott Shirley (Teresa) of Acworth and Stacy Shirley (Kate) of Jasper; his grandchildren, Jesse Shirley of Atlanta, Whitley Shirley of Rockmart and Rachael Shirley of Acworth; his nephew Justin Shirley of Powder Springs; and his niece Casey Shirley Kincad of Buchanan.
