With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sara Smith Brandt (Kennesaw, Georgia), born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sara Smith farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sara Smith is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Smith and Pauline Smith of Bethlehem, PA; and her brother Palmer Smith of New Holstein, WI.. She is survived by: her husband Lee Brandt; her children, L. Brian Brandt Jr. of Woodstock, GA and Tiffany Brandt McKinnon; her son-in-law Lauchlin McKinnon III of Marietta, GA; and her grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail Brandt and Ansley McKinnon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
