She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kessler and Ruth Veal Colson of Scotland, GA.; and her brother Charles Gordon Colson of Hampton, GA.. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandi Hollomon Dennis (Stephen) and Sheri Hollomon Thacker (John) of Maysville, GA.; her grandchildren, James A. R. "Jar" Carroll of Augusta, GA and Colson Avery Dennis of Atlanta, GA.; her nieces and nephews, Kessler Colson (Amy) of Crawfordville, FL, Marc Colson (Anita), Regina Gray (Scott) and Zondra Barber (Wayne); and her great-nephew Griffin Colson of Crawfordville, FL..
