He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl (Delle Hite) and Bob. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Hite; his children, Robert Hite III, Nancy Hite Barker (JT), Diane Davis (Lawton), Becky England (Tennis), Sharon Gwaltney (Don) and Mary Ann Watkins Oslund (Kerry); his grandchildren, Meryll Davis, Richard Davis, Sharon Davis, Christina Livengood (John), Matthew England, Daniel England (Karen), Anna Gwaltney, Sarah Gwaltney, Alexandra Turner, Cole Oslund, Caroline Oslund Melo and George Perkins; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Jack, Ivy and Luke England; and his grandchildren, Juniper, Bryant Livengood, Stella and Lucy Navarro.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (189 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
