He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Dycus Byrd of Marietta; his children, Mark Byrd of Marietta, William Cowart of Adairsville and Robin; his son-in-law Curtis Mangrum of Marietta; his grandchildren, Marcus Byrd (Kenzie), Jacob Mangrum and Rayana Mangrum; and his great grandchild Colton Byrd. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and several grandkids.
