He is survived by: his son Paul A. Bednarz; his wife Maryann Bednarz; his sons, John Bednarz and David Bednarz; his brother Anthony L. Bednarz (Marianne); his nieces, Krista Varady, Lisa Gentile and Paula Savino; and his nephew Charles Bednarz. He is also survived by three grandchildren; one great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation.
