“I worked with Pat at St. Joe's. One memory was when treating a very sick patient needing a heart shock, but which could cause cardiac arrest. I delayed, hoping it would fix itself (it wouldn't). And there was Pat, giving me THAT look, and I know her foot was tapping a hundred to the minute, wordlessly vibing We've Got This, Just Get On With It, We Can Handle It. And I did, and it was fine. I loved Pat for her friendship and support; her presence was always a joy. I will miss her deeply.”
