He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Giles and Linda Giles of Dawson, GA.. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Jessica O'Connell and Michael Giles (Meredith); his grandchildren, Rhiannon, Tristan and Sylvia; and his sisters, Joy Moreland and Lynn Outlaw (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
