He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hal Waters and Nancy Waters (Smith); his son Matthew W. Waters Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; his siblings, Michael J. Waters (Jane) of Annapolis, Maryland, Kathleen A. Waters (Beth) of Syracuse and Kelly Waters Cohen (Jon) of Jupiter; his former wife Ava Fleming Waters of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.; and his nieces and nephews, Molly Waters, Kelsey Cohen, Katya Waters, Ana Waters, Mason Waters and Cameron Cohen.
A service will be held after the coronavirus pandemic.
