He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Smith and Lynn Cantrell Smith. He is survived by: his sisters, Deborah L. Vollmer (Karl), Kathy Lovinggood (Steve) and Regina C. Prewett (Fred); his nephews, Spenser Kyle Vollmer, Stephen Lovinggood (Jessica), Mickey Lovinggood, Derrick Prewett (Marquita), Tevin Prewett and Ian Prewett; his great-nephews, Liam Lovinggood, Austin Prewett, Cayden Prewett and Levi Prewett; and his great-niece Emma Lovinggood.
