He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Slaughter Grimes; his children, Larry Anthony Grimes, II and Andrea Elizabeth Grimes Lowe (Steven Watson Lowe); his stepfather Bobby G. Stallings (Joanne Stallings); and his siblings, Mark Stallings and Tammy Reasons (Greg Reasons). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
