She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Lou Edwards and Ulysses Ware; her former spouse Cleo A. Hister; her son Maurice (Sabrina); her siblings, Madeline Best, Barbara Conway, Hilda Bracy and Charles Edwards; and her grandchildren, Sidria, Antoine, Corneilus, Jerrod, Roquel, Daijah and Jania.
She is survived by: her son Charles; her husband Darnley; her children, Shermanita Hister and Darnley Williams, Jr.; and also Linda Johnson.
