With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joni D. Thames (Kennesaw, Georgia), born in LaGrange, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2024 at the age of 67. She was predeceased by: her mother Frances Harry Hale; her grandmother Mabel Harry; and her nephew Noah Thames. She is survived by: her husband Rusty; her pet Pinky Pie; her siblings, Laurie Dodd (Carroll) and Garry Hale; her nieces and nephews, Austin Dodd, Evan Dodd (Kaitlyn), Jade Thames, John Paul Vinson, Christy Hale, Josh Hale and Tommy Hale; her cousins, Dani Seeds and Robbie Harry; and her siblings-in-law, David Thames and Grace Vinson (Mike).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Winkenhofer Funeral Home (2950 Cobb Pkwy N, Kennesaw, GA 30152).
