JoAnn Brown Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn Brown of Kennesaw, Georgia, born in Blairsville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2024 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Jordan and Lucille Butt Jordan; and her husband Bill Rogers. She is survived by: her daughters, Lois Taylor (Gilbert) and Mary Jo Baker (Jared); her grandchildren, Candice Hernandez (Oscar), Stephen Brown (Bryce Carter), Christopher Jones, Megan Daniel (Cody), Kayla Doutrich (Aaron), Emily Taylor and Bernard Williams; her great grandchildren, Carina Martin, Jaida Hernandez, Sarah Brown, Bella Carter, Peyton Doutrich and Wyatt Doutrich; and her sister Eloise Cook (Kenny). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of Blairsville (41 Hunt Martin St, Blairsville, GA 30512). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Union Memory Gardens (430 Ledford Rd, Blairsville, GA 30512).
