He was predeceased by: his brother Leland A. Wood; and his parents, Paul L. Wood and Maude M. Wood. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan W. Scarboro (Stan) and Paula W. McClure (Ken); and his grandchildren, Marie Roberts (Steve), Kelli LIttlefield-Pawloski (David), Steven Scarboro (Lora), Stacy Morgan (Wayne) and Taylor McClure (Kara).

Due to the recent influx of COVID, the family has decided to have a private celebration of life with close friends and family.

Jimmie requested in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
