She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Emory Carmichael; her son Gary Scott Carmichael; her parents, Edith Maud Austin and Edwin Wallace Scott Austin; and her brother Edwin Austin.
She is survived by: her daughter Kristy Hadaway; her sister Jennifer Sager; her granddaughters, Chelsea Palmer (Kendall) and Katelyn Hadaway; and her great grandchildren, Luke Austin and Bennett Chase Palmer.
