He is survived by: his wife Doris Spruell Stone; his daughters, Kathy Slick (Jimmy) and Jerilyn Winther (Rick); and his brother Paris Stone. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Summit Baptist Church Children's Scholarship Fund at 4310 Moon Station LN, Acworth, GA 30101.
