It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Merrill Cole Jr. of Kennesaw, Georgia, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Mae Cole (Rodgers); and his sons-in-law, Mickey, Bruce, Randy, Gary and Michael.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa, Diantha, Michele (Greg), Wendi and Joe (Deana); and his grandchildren, Destiny (Wendy), Christopher (Brandon), Ryan (Megan), Parker (Jay) and Robynn (Will). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and their spouses and 18 great, great grandchildren.
