He is survived by: his wife Sarah Sheppard; and his children, Bruce Clute (Linda) of Greencastle, IN, James "Dick" Sheppard, Jr. (Charlene) of Auburn, GA, Paul Stewart (Terry Jo) of Lawrenceville, GA, Mike Stewart (Deborah) of Loganville, GA, Elaine Taylor (Nathan) of Oxford, GA, Darlene Zale (Nicholas) of Cartersville, GA, Lenora Sheppard (Sally) of Starke, FL and Rosa Hutto (Steve) of Conyers, GA. He is also survived by 26 Grandchildren, 49 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
