He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Hughes and Maggie Adkins Hughes; and his brother Johnny Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Tamera "Michelle" Hughes Davis, James "Michael" Mills and Jamie Hughes; and his siblings, Fred Hughes, Ken Hughes, Dwight Hughes and MaryAnn Hughes Calloway.
