It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Horace Lee Woodlief (Kennesaw, Georgia), who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace Lee Woodlief, Sr. and Thelma Stone Woodlief; his wife Lucille; his children, Susan Woodlief Shupe (Allan) and Robert Woodlief (Kathy); his grandchildren, John Shupe (Leah), David Shupe (Kate), James Shupe and Kate Woodlief; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Grace, Max, Charlie and Henry.

He was always proud of his military service and of his contributions to the Space Program.
