She was predeceased by: her parents, Naoma Mobbs and Irven Heard; her siblings, Nadine Heard, Jimmerson Heard, Ruth Heard Burgess, Marcialee Heard Stewart and Irven Heard Jr.; and her sons, Rick Bowen and Christopher Bowen.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Sue Heard Sosebee; and her sons, Tim Bowen (Sue) and Vincent Bowen (Julie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
