He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Swafford and Mae Swafford; his former wife Erma Swafford; his daughter Jean Marlowe; his children-in-law, Eleanor Swafford and Bob Eubanks; his siblings, Cleo Bruce, Lois Chumley and Max Swafford; and his grandson Greg Marlowe.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Swafford; his children, Gerald Swafford, Joyce, Jerry Daniel and Sharon Eubanks; his sister Eunice Chumley; and his grandchildren, Beth (Brent Covington), Mike Daniel, Tim (Yee Daniel), Chris Daniel and Scarlett (Jeff Boyle). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and other relatives.
