She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barthowell Martin and Ona Mae Floyd Martin; her husband Carroll F. Bass; her siblings, John Berl Martin, Kyle Martin, Lula Mae Converse and Dot Carlisle Simonds; and her grandson Douglas F. Bass.
She is survived by: her son Ken Bass (Karen) of Kennesaw, Georgia; and her sisters, Wilene Hollis of Mantee, MS and Eva Perkins of Mathiston, MS. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wake Forest Cemetery.
