He is survived by: his family, Hank Williams Sr., Church and Arnold Murry of Shepherd's Chapel; his wife Ellen Ann Peppers-Golden; his brother Earl Golden (Pat); his children, Bryan Golden (Donna), Wendy Gilleland (Deron), Lennette Parker (Mike) and Vickie Giles; his grandchildren, Brandon Gilleland, Devin Golden, Spencer Giles, Clay Golden, Rhenn Parker, Senna Giles, Brendy Scarbrough (Joe), Destiny North (Addam), Krisanna Heltsley (Dustin), Lily Jones (Kevin) and Kelsey Strickland (Ashton); his great grandchildren, Aubree Scarbrough, Aspen Tarrance, Grayson Strickland, Tucker Strickland and Maddox Strickland; and his nephew Sterling.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winkenhofer Funeral Home (2950 Cobb Pkwy N, Kennesaw, GA 30152). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM.
