He is survived by: his children, Margaret Goddard, Karen Albers (Frank), Mary Anne Dalrymple (Dennis) and Edward J. Patterson; his stepdaughter Amy Teske (Robert); and his brother Dennis Patterson (Kathie). He is also survived by his 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
His last project was working on creating better Covid 19 personal protection masks.
