Earl E. Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl E. Smith of Kennesaw, Georgia, born in Varnell, Georgia, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rachel Mattox Smith; his parents, Tensie Ann Smith and Oren Amos Smith; and his brothers, Floyd, Clyde, Harold and Leonard Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Abernathy (Barry) and Cheryl Forrester (Richard); his granddaughters, Claire Elizabeth Abernathy (Jay Fisher), Emily Caroline Abernathy (Eric Schlipf) and Rachel Lee Forrester; and his siblings, Betty Lynn Masters, Kathleen Ellis and Hoyt Smith. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
