We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Donnie Ted Shipp of Kennesaw, Georgia, born in Dallas, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Eugene Shipp and Annie Berton Barber Shipp; and his siblings, Wilford David "Snooks" Shipp, Dorothy Shipp Walls and Mickey Shipp Cameron.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cook Shipp; his children, Donna Crosby, Doug Shipp (Anne) and Susan Gould (Todd); his grandchildren, Matthew, Rachel and Reagan; and his sisters, Joyce Charlton (Earl) and Melba Campbell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery (2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060-3759). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Linked fund of Kennesaw First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1538 Kennesaw, GA 30156.
