She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Tanya Nicole McDaniel of Lawrenceville, GA.; her stepchildren, Mark Steves (Stacey) of Washington, D. C., Lisa Steves (Dena) of Charlotte, NC., David Steves (Ivonne) of Braselton, GA. and Angela Perry (Greg) of Atlanta, GA.; her brothers, Carl Bruce McDaniel and Gene McDaniel of Loganville, GA.; her husband Dr. Severo Steves of Marietta, GA; her brother Jacob Ray McDaniel of Panama City, FL.; her grandson Jordan McDaniel (Emily); her great grandchildren, Jayce and Stryker McDaniel of Lawrenceville, GA; her stepgrandchildren, Daniel Perry, Olivia Perry, Noah Perry, Adam Steves, Michael Steves and Madeline Steves; and her parents, Harold McDaniel and Inez McDaniel.

Prior to COVID, she volunteered at her local church.
