With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine B. Preast (Kennesaw, Georgia), born in Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on November 1, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Brackett and James N. Brackett of Marietta; and her siblings, Irene Merritt, Laura Smith, Sue McKay, Revonda Foster, Lloyd, Harold and Ray Brackett.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Preast; her children, Cathy Hendrix, Sam Preast and Eddie Preast; and her siblings, Shirley Tolbert and Robert Brackett. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Elizabeth Baptist Church, 315 Kurtz Road, Marietta, GA 30066.
