He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Cecil Swanson and Lillie Mae Swanson; his wife Jerrie; and his siblings, Willard, Virginia, Zeke, Raymond and Margie.
He is survived by: his children, Malcolm "Cooter" Swanson (Nancy) and Lynn Swanson; his grandchildren, Chase Swanson (Whitney), Lindsey Schriefer (JohnHenry), Dansby Swanson (Mallory), Rebecca Fowler (Jason Haberman) and Carter Fowler (Ashlyn); his great grandchildren, Tucker, Charlie, Crosby, Deacon and Orion; and his siblings, Becky Burnette and Larry Swanson (Ann).
