It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Edith Byess of Kennesaw, Georgia, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Phillips and Lorraine Phillips; her children, Jimmy Byess and Robin Byess; and her brothers, Earl Phillips and Paul Phillips.

She is survived by: her children, Mickey Byess (Brenda), Sherry Gowen (Mike) and Deborah Byess Nash (David Scott). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren.
