He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Payne and Mabel Sanders Payne; his wife Janette Craft Payne; his daughter Sharon K. Payne; and his siblings, Harry J. Payne, Jerry B. Payne and Sara P. Bannister. He is survived by : his sister Betty Ann Lunsford (Waymon) and brother Tribble Payne (Cheryl) of Hartwell. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
