She was predeceased by: her husband Max Donald Simpson; her parents, Clayton Robert and Villa C. Brown; her son James; and her sisters, Melba Harp, Fleasha Gomez and Mary Henderson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mickie Simpson and Donna Simpson; her granddaughter Octavia Carney; and her siblings, Jean Welch, Peggy Jenkins and Kenny Brown. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be attended only by immediate family & intimate friends, due to COVID-19, at Winkenhofer Funeral Home in Kennesaw, Georgia.
