He was predeceased by: his father James Woodrow Garrett (Woody). He is survived by: his wife Eva Maxwell Garrett of Kennesaw, GA; his mother Barbara Garrett of Kennesaw, GA; his sister Cindy Garrett Swann of Canton, GA; his nephews, Alan Swann, James Maxwell, Lee Maxwell and Jonathan Maxwell; and his niece Wendi Swann. He is also survived by three aunts, one uncle and several cousins.
The family is requesting that contributions to American Diabetes Association or Kennesaw State University Foundation be made in Mr. Garrett's memory.
