She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Gardner Jr.; and her siblings, Russel Mills (Mary Jo) and Sarah Ellen. She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Gardner and Janet Perry; her brother Donald Mills (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Josh Perry (Melissa), Dalton Perry and Sara Perry; and her great grandchildren, Carson Perry, Riley Perry and Shelby Mae Perry.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please donate to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital or Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
