She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Dempsey and Nitha Dempsey; her siblings, Annie and Billy (Don); and her pet Nicky.

She is survived by: her sister Anna Dempsey (Muncy); her husband Donald Edward Vance Sr.; her sons, Don Vance Jr. (Patricia Coelho) and Rob Vance (Katina); her grandchildren, Jason Vance and Cori Watkins (Robert); and her great grandchildren, Bently Watkins, Mickinley Watkins and Emeline Grace Watkins.
