He was predeceased by: his grandfather Leon Ardre; his daughter Caroline Seleta Blackmon Reale; his parents, Frances White Patenotte and Andrew Blackmon; his siblings, Andrew Blackmon and Helen Frances Figura; and his grandmother Lorena White of Natchez, Mississippi..
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mackenzie Lilla, Cameron Conrad and Marleigh Ann; his wife Cynthia Salley Bramlett Blackmon; his stepson Wesley Bramlett (Casey) of Marietta; and his siblings, Samuel Leon Blackmon of Washington, Robert Patenotte, Jr. of Long Beach, Mississippi, Edwina and Francis. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
