He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Bird and Marguerite Bird. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Bird; his children, Ana (Jeff Stokes), Matthew (Armida Bird) and Noel (Matthew Weeks); and his siblings, Karen McPhee, Michael Bird, Stephen Bird (Romy), Daniel Bird (Lucia) and Mary Staley (Scott).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (87 Lacy St NW, Marietta, GA 30060-1111). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Kennesaw Memorial Park (1306 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064).
