We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2020, at the age of 83, Addie Hasting of Kennesaw, Georgia, born in Flat Rock, Alabama passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lealus and Beulah Bell Davis Purdy; and her siblings, Clebert, Oakley, Homer, Ray Purdy, Winnis Purdy West and Fay Purdy Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Karen (Ken Buchanan) of Powder Springs, GA and Tim (Kimi Hasting) of Dallas, GA; her grandchildren, Markus Shirley (Lacey), Erin Kotowski (Stephan), Haley Weldon (Methus), Elizabeth Moore (Dillian) and Emily Richardson (Stone); her great grandchildren, Lila Rose Shirley, Emmaline Kotowski, Ben Kotowski, Caroline Moore and Ivy Moore; and her brother Willard (Kathy Purdy) of Eufaula, AL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Winkenhofer Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Hasting safe.
