He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra Melvin; his mother Darcas Melvin Woods (Sam); his grandchild Jaylen Butler; his siblings, Rodney Melvin (Cynthia), Karen Godwin, Irish Hayes, Donnie Corner (Henry) and Eunice Boone; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Harris, Charles Harris (Yvonne), Cynthia Roberts, Shirley Darby and Annie Mobbs. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

The family is requesting everyone to wear a face mask to remain in compliance with the CDC guidelines.
