With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Cummings of Kathleen, Georgia, born in Laurinburg, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Foy Cummings and Hildith Cummings. He is survived by: his wife Hallie Locklear Cummings; his children, Garykai Robert Cummings of Kathleen, David D. Cummings of Pembroke, NC and Caryn L. Cummings of Kathleen, GA.; his stepchildren, Michelle Wofford of Red Springs, NC and Reggie A. Wofford (Star) of Byron, GA.; his grandchildren, Ariona Wofford, Cory Wofford (Yulie) and Layne Wofford; his great grandchild Christopher M. Wofford of Byron, GA.; and his siblings, Michael Cummings, Louise Maynor, Sally Locklear and Eunice Cummings.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel (2932 US Hwy 41, Fort Valley, GA 31030). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Unity Baptist Church - Highway (479 SR 96, Bonaire, GA 31005).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Youth and Children's Program at Unity Baptist Church in Bob's memory.
