He is survived by: his children, Kristy Dennis Rowell (Greg), Michael Carter, Jr. (Amber), Lori Carter (Matt Lopez) and Matthew Carter (Kellen); and his brother Bobby Carter (Linda). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
