He was predeceased by: his parent Viola Pore; his grandmother Ermer Daugherty; and his brothers, Charles A. Nelson (Ted) and Ronald L. Nelson (Minnie). He is survived by: his wife Rose F. Nelson; his children, Mack C. Nelson Jr., Cheryl Nelson and Cynara Nelson (Addie M. Nelson); his sisters, Gloria Jean Nelson and Vivian Ruth McFarland; his siblings-in-law, Marlene Mahotiere, Jacqueline Dorleans (Leo), Edna Joseph, Evelyne Fontaine, Michel Fontaine, Wilson Andre (Gladys), Yves Fontaine (Emline) and Emmanuel Fontaine (Lunie); and his nieces and nephews, Christopher McFarland, Charlesette McFarland-Way (Frederick), Antoine Nelson, Jenesa Nelson, Constance McFarland, KaDarius Traylor, Jayden Way, Channing Mitchell, Amyia McFarland and Caleb McFarland. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
