He was predeceased by: his son Grayson James Bennett. He is survived by: his parents, John Frederick Whiddon and Mary G. Sweeney (Brian); his sons, Johnathan Rhett Heyl and Benjamin Cole Bennett (Tara Heyl); his siblings, Brad Whiddon (Rebecca), Jennifer Whiddon Crigger (Corey), Brittany Price (Kyle) and Katelyn Whiddon; and his uncle Dana Grinstead (Kimberly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
